I understand the need to have a house you love and cherish. I grew up in Fort Madison but life presented the opportunity to live elsewhere. After receiving my bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University, I lived in Nashville, TN for 8 years.
Taking care of my ill parents was part of the reason I returned home. I was a massage therapist at the time. Working as a massage therapist in Ft. Madison provided a foundation for listening and caring. Providing hospice massage also gave me a glimpse into how lives can be turned upside down at the end of life, including what to do about the family home. I was fortunate to be able to stay in my childhood home after my parent’s passing. The family traditions that continue in my home are priceless!
My interest in real estate developed through my friendship with Sharon Scholl. She gave me the opportunity to obtain my real estate license and served as my mentor. When Scholl Real Estate closed, I decided to become my own boss and started KLM Realty.
Living in a home you love makes the memories and security a home provides even more cherished. It is my goal to assist others in my community to keep their lives moving in whatever direction that might be. Relationships, businesses, and other needs change. Opportunities arise.
